Galbraith & Paul

This past Saturday was the Galbraith & Paul annual sample sale. For those in the Philly area, it's an opportunity to score some fantastic deals on pillows, rugs, fabric, wallpaper, and drum shades at deep discounts. Though you can find their pillows and shades at Room & Board, their fabrics are only available to the trade at prices in excess of $100 a yard. Eek!

I went last year and learned the best deal is the scrap fabric sold by the pound for $15 per pound. I bought 3.5 pounds this year and plan to make some unique throw pillows. Some of the pieces have imperfections or the pattern isn't centered, but I think I can make them work. It's pretty chaotic at the scrap table (see pic below).
